Some of the best air plants in the country have been grown by the same hands for nearly 50 years.
These air plants come from @tropiflora in Florida, one of the most respected names in the world of Tillandsias. For nearly 50 years they’ve dedicated themselves to growing, collecting, and preserving air plants, building a collection that’s become legendary among collectors and growers alike. Their passion for rare species, unique hybrids, and exceptional quality helped shape the air plant world as we know it today.
As they head into retirement and close the nursery, we’re honored to share a small piece of the legacy they’ve built.
Over the next several weeks we’ll be bringing in dozens of varieties, from tiny sculptural plants to larger statement pieces. Whether you’re adding to a collection or discovering air plants for the first time, this is a special opportunity to take home plants from a grower whose work has inspired generations.

A few collector favorites, a few cool looking ones, and a couple plants we rarely get our hands on.
Fockea Edulis, Sinocrassula Black Sea Urchin, Buddha’s Temple, Hoya Sunrise, The “Ming Thing” (Cereus forbesii monstrose) and few others were keeping a surprise for now.

Welcome to Heat Wave Social Club – Event #1: Backyard Burn
Join us for an evening of great food, cold drinks, music, games, and good company in the backyard of Ceremony, beneath the cypress trees along the creek.
We’ll have outstanding food provided by Luke Bibby, libations, and music, a perfect evening to relax and connect with our community in one of the most beautiful settings in our little town.
Throughout the evening we’ll be leading some casual games including cornhole, washers, Left Right Center, raffles, and many opportunities to laugh with friends and win a Ceremony themed prize.
In partnership with Goodburn Hot Sauce, we’ll be hosting a hot sauce challenge for anyone willing to test their limits and see how far they can make it.
Come for the food, the atmosphere, the games, or just a chance to spend an evening around good people. We look forward to it and to making some memories together.
